TAKACHA – A Noble Tradition from Kagoshima

Hojicha is a roasted Japanese green tea known for its comforting aroma and smooth, refreshing taste.
By roasting green tea leaves at high temperatures, the bitterness and astringency are softened, resulting in a mild flavor with subtle natural sweetness.

Low in caffeine, hojicha is gentle on the body and can be enjoyed by people of all ages—including children, the elderly, and those who are pregnant.
Conveniently packaged in tea bags, it’s easy to enjoy whether at home or on the go.

Wellness in Every Cup

Hojicha contains pyrazine, a naturally occurring compound that has been studied for its relaxing properties and its potential to support healthy circulation.

Crafted by the Nishitarumizu Family – Generations of Tea Artisans

TAKACHA (貴茶) combines two Japanese kanji characters:
貴 (Taka) – meaning noble, precious, or esteemed
茶 (Cha) – meaning tea

This tea is grown, harvested, and processed by the Nishitarumizu family, who have preserved and passed down their traditional tea-making methods for generations. Their craftsmanship ensures a refined and consistent flavor in every cup.

Grown in Chiran Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, TAKACHA benefits from the region’s mild climate and nutrient-rich soil. Kagoshima is Japan’s leading green tea-producing area, known for cultivating teas of exceptional quality.
